A Brief Flower Guide

If you are planning a wedding, chances are you have a Pinterest Board and have been looking at Wedding Blogs. I love that an image so easily communicates an idea! One look at your images and I know exactly the style and ambiance that you're looking for on your wedding day. The challenges are, however, that not all flowers are available during every month of the year. Peonies, ranunculus, dahlias, & anemones are seasonal flowers that are not available during every month. Sometimes a certain flower can be imported when out of season, but in my experience they are either not as pretty as they are when they are in season or very expensive, or both. I generally advise you to go with flowers that are in season.

Ranunculus and Anemones are springtime flowers that can sometimes be gotten as early as late January and are typically available until late April. They can sometimes be shipped in during the summer months - but expect to pay more

Peonies are late spring and early summer. They start as early as the latter part of April and can be found until early June. Again, these can be found and shipped in during some other months, however, the price point goes up the harder they are to find.

Dahlias are a summer flower and can be seen starting late June and through later September. Can sometimes be had in October, but color choices are limited.

Pricing

Keep in mind that styled shoots and oftentimes real weddings that are published have high or unlimited budgets. I understand it is difficult to know how much flowers cost and how to create your budget for wedding flowers. Here's a quick breakdown of popular flowers and some greenery form the top end of the price scale to some beautiful flowers that fit into any budget:

Luxury: Peonies, Garden Roses, Certain Orchids, Colored Hydrangea (except light blue), Calla Lilies, Stephanotis, Tropical flowers such as Protea &  Anthirium

Premium: Standard roses, Spray Roses, Cymbidium Orchids, Dendrobium Orchids, Dahlias, Double Tulips, Lisianthus, White & light blue hydrangea, Ranunculus, Anemones, Dusty Miller, Exotic Foilage, Italian Pittosporum and Italian Ruscus

Standard: Sunflowers, Gerbera Daisy, Spider Mum, Delphinium, Larkspur, Eucalyptus, Stock, Lemon leaf, Israeli Ruscus

Economical: Alstromeria, Iris, Carnations, Accent Flowers such as Waxflower or Babies Breath, Leather fern

My goal is to work within your desired price range to create wedding flowers that fit your style. Which is why I will ask how much you'd like to spend on wedding flowers prior to our consultation. A typical wedding with me will range $500-$3500+ (including set up fees & tax) depending on style and flower selection. Below is some average pricing per item to assist you in creating your own floral budget.  We also have elopement and small wedding packages available.

Please see the items below for our current sample pricing. Prices are adjusted to suit our clients’ order preferences. Weddings booked a calendar year or more in advance receive the current pricing and will not be subject to inflation.

Please note that we are a specialty cut flower design studio on a flower farm. We are a good match for folks who have specific color and style preferences and seek sustainably grown flowers. We also have the ability to ship in certain flowers from within the United States through our connections with other flower farmers.

Bridal Bouquet: $85 - $500  (average $155 - $185, cascades are $250 - $300)

Bridal Floral Crown: $75 - $250 (average $100 - $150)

Toss Bouquet: $30 - $55 (average $30)

Bridesmaids Bouquet: $45 - $110  (average $60 - $75)

Corsage: $30 - $45 (average $30)

Flower Girl petals or mini bouquet: $35 - $75 (average $45 - $55 )

Flower Girl Floral Crown: $65 - $125 (average $75 - $85)

Flower Girl Pomander (Flower Ball): $85 - $105 (average $95)

Groom Boutonniere: $18 - $35 (average $18 -$25)

Boutonniere: $12 - $22 (average $16)

LARGE ARRANGEMENT

These arrangements are great for welcoming guests to a ceremony or reception area or for framing a couple during the ceremony. $100+

FLORAL CHAIR ELEMENT

Small hanging arrangements to line the aisle or welcome reception guests. Designed to client’s specifications. Prices vary.

MINI BOTTLE SELECTIONS

A scattering of pretty vintage-look rental clear glass bottles to highlight single blooms. $10+

MEDIUM ARRANGEMENT

Perfect for an escort card or gift table $50+

SMALL ARRANGEMENT

These little arrangements are popular cocktail table decorations. They also look sweet on the bar or as a thoughtful addition in restrooms at the reception $30+

LARGE CENTERPIECE

Full designs for larger tables. Choice of gorgeous rental vessels from our collection. These designs may be built as low arrangements or placed on tall, open pedestals - your choice. For 8 to 10-person tables. $75+

CENTERPIECE

A beautiful table arrangement designed to promote conversation and not block it! Choice of gorgeous rental vessels from our collection. This size design works well for 6-8 person long tables or 8-person round tables. $50+

SMALL CENTERPIECE

Sized for “Family Style” dinner service on long farmhouse tables (consider adding in some mini bottle collections) or for 4-person tables. $30+

FLOWERS FOR THE CAKE

We'll provide a collection of beautiful flowers and greens for your cake with cake decorating service. $40+

ARBOR DESIGNS

There are so many different ways to approach designing an arbor. From flower curtains, to garlands and large arrangements - we can make your dream ceremony happen. Please describe your preferences on your inquiry form and share photos to help us get a sense for what you'd like. Price Varies.

ASYMMETRICAL GARDEN ARCH

We offer our beautiful asymmetrical arch designs as seen in our work with Hotel Saranac. This structure, built on our custom welded frames, is the perfect way to frame a couple during a ceremony or welcome guests to church and can often be re-purposed to a reception site. Price Varies.

Delivery

Delivery varies depending on how much labor is involved. If we are doing set up and coming back for tear down it will be at the higher end. If we are just dropping off personals then we can work within your budget.  Setting up arbors and live art statement pieces can take many hours and will be on the higher end of the budget.
