CUT FLOWER CARE ~ HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FRESH FLOWERS
FRESH + LONG LASTING FLOWERS
Our flowers are given the best care while they’re growing and after harvest to ensure that they remain fresh and beautiful on your table for as long as possible. By providing our flowers with fresh, clean water they should last over a week in the vase. They are pesticide-free and safe for all family members (2 and 4-legged) in your home. Some varieties of flowers will last longer than others, and this is completely normal.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FLOWERS
1. As soon as you bring home your cut flowers, add warm water and floral food (1/3 - 1/2 the provided packet) to a clean vase. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance as bacteria will clog the stem, preventing the flower from drinking up water.
2. Trim the stems at an angle using a sharp knife or floral snips.
3. Discard any leaves growing low on the stem that may touch the water. Leaves in the water causes bacteria to grow; bacteria is the primary reason that vase life is cut short in fresh flowers.
4. Change the water every other day using warm water and a little flower food. Recut flowers the same way as above if they need perking up.
5. Keep your flowers in a cool location and out of direct sunlight.
6. Enjoy your flowers!
